Any startup that has the potential to bring me delicious food, I can get behind 110%. According to Fast Company, Culture Kitchen aims to do just that. Started by Stanford students Abby Sturges and Jennifer Lopez, the startup is a place “where women share their family recipes and insight into their cultural backgrounds.” What’s interesting is that it’s ultimately a culinary school, except “the teachers are all women who are not professionally trained chefs but have recipes to share, many passed down through generations.”
Watch out, Food Network! This startup has a rustic feel to it that could take on Paula Deen any day.
