BRINK is a creative digital agency pushing boundaries in web, mobile, social, video, and even indie film.

This is our blog. A place to cheer the successes and lament the failures. To give wisdom and share experiences. Sometimes it's business, sometimes it's pleasure, but it's always through the eyes of an agency living on the BRINK.

Enjoy!

Purple Diary on TV Party

I wandered over to premiere French fashion and culture magazine PURPLE’s blog (presented by PURPLE creator Olivier Zahm) after posting my last update. Low and behold Zahm also had TV Party on the brain. He shares a nice little synopsis of the show and links to the TV Party Manifesto on O’Brien’s own blog. In a nut shell, O’Brien says the manifesto, printed in 1981 in Bomb magazine, is still relevant today. In that manifesto he concluded mass localization, representing the locals with their own programming and not simple beaming in national points of view. With the massive changes in technology and tons of online social networks that have been created and used by millions since O’Brien wrote that, are local voices being heard? I don’t know but the ideas O’Brien shared seem to be striking a chord across the internet.
